Environmental Social & Governance
Galenica has been integrating sustainability into its business for several years. We strongly believe that ESG factors (environmental, social, and corporate governance) are significant components of the entire business model. In this regard the Company is making progress on assessing and articulating a strategy which will be gradually implemented.
At this stage we may highlight several initiatives either implemented or under execution such as:
Environmental & Community
- Environmental management system certified under ISO 14001:2015 standard.
- Over 80% of the waste generated through Galenica’s operations is responsibly handled by specialized companies.
- Galenica is committed with the assessment of its corporate carbon footprint.
Diversity & Inclusion
- Galenica has in place a Diversity and Inclusion policy.
- As of December 2023, 46% of management positions are women.
- During 2023 members of Galenica´s staff had been trained under “Estrategias de Inclusión Laboral de Personas con Discapacidad”
