Description

Bio-Rad’s Enzymatic and multi-flow assays are used as an aid in the diagnosis of Celiac and Crohn’s disease, should be used along with clinical findings and other diagnostic tests.

Enzyme immunoassays are used to semi-quantitatively and qualitatively detect antibodies related to tissue transglutaminase (tTG), gliadin and Saccharomyces cerevisiae in human serum.

Multiple flow immunoassays are used to semi-quantitatively detect IgA and IgG autoantibodies related to deamidated gliadin peptide (DGP) and tissue transglutaminase (tTG) in human serum.

The different types of tests include:
•Enzyme immunoassays related to tissue transglutaminase (tTg), for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of IgG or IgA antibodies related to tissue transglutaminase (tTg), indicative of celiac disease
•Enzyme immunoassays, for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of anti-Saccharomyces cerevisiae antibodies (ASCA)
•Anti-gliadin enzyme immunoassays, for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of IgG or IgA antibodies related to alpha-gliadin, indicative of intestinal leakage
•Assays for celiac disease, various organ-specific autoantibodies can be identified using rat liver/kidney/stomach IFA slides that include anti-reticulin antibodies.
